Are there any steps that must be taken prior to filing a grievance?
Participants are required first to talk to the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and/or their supervisor. If unresolved resolved, contact the district director of your local district office.
If issue not resolved, contact the DCF Consumer Concerns Team.
What information and documents are required in order to file the grievance?
You will need all information regarding your caseworker and the district office that is working on your case.
