Wondering how to file a CPS complaint in Nebraska?
Start by speaking with your CFS Specialist. If that doesn’t help, try their supervisor, the CFS Administrator, or the Service Area Administrator. If the issue isn’t resolved, you can file a formal complaint. Someone from CFS will call you within 5 business days. You may also work with a grievance team that includes your case manager and advocate. See Q&A below for more detailed information.

Are there any steps that must be taken prior to filing a grievance?
First steps:

What to expect after filing and how to track the progress of your grievance?
CFS will contact the grievant within 5 business days of submitting complaint form. During that conversation next steps will be developed. Next steps may include developing a grievant team, involving the case manager, an advocate, and any other relevant persons.
