Are there any steps that must be taken prior to filing a grievance?
DCS Ombudsman Bureau requires that complainants first attempt to address their issues at the local level, by contacting the appropriate family case manager, the family case manager supervisor, the division manager, and the local office director. Contact your local Department of Children Services for more information.
